On Thursday, May 15, 2014, from 7-9pm in the high school cafeteria, the Berlin High School Counseling Department will be hosting an informational evening regarding both our UConn Early College Experience program and our articulated Tunxis Community College College-Career Pathway program. Both of these programs give students enrolled in specific courses related to these programs the opportunity to obtain both high school and college credit. This year's UConn ECE courses will be registered through a online process. A letter has been sent out to those students who are eligible for these programs to attend this evening information session.
An overview of both programs will be explained to parents and students so that there is clear understanding of the registration process for each program, the expectations for course work to meet each college's credit criteria, course rigor, fees, add/drop criteria, and credit and transcript information. Registration forms will be available for each program and deadlines for form submission will be discussed.
If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Ramirez either at [email protected] or 860-828-6577 X163.
