Protocol for Students Registering for Tunxis College Career Pathway Courses
In March during the scheduling process, juniors or seniors interested in applying for one of the college career pathways should see Mrs. Ramirez in the school counseling office for Tunxis CCP information. Students who have completed Algebra I and II and Chemistry or Physics are eligible. They must then register for Business Communications, which serves as a speech course, and Accounting I and/or II, or Business Technologies. The School Counseling Department Chair/Tunxis CCP Site Coordinator sends a letter to parents of students considering enrollment in a College Career Pathway, inviting them to an information and registration evening in order to pick up Tunxis CCP application and registration materials; this evening meeting generally takes place in May.
